Full Statement (English Translation)
“I am active in the Japanese Parliamentary Committee for World Federation. From the perspective of multilateral relations, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Japan to secure basic budgetary contributions to international organizations.
While we provide bilateral support and project-based contributions, we are now discussing how to ensure stable support for core functions within multilateral frameworks.
To move things forward steadily, it is crucial that the foundational organizations be robust. I intend to further strengthen coordination with relevant institutions.”
