“Thank you very much.
While working at the OECD, I had a period of collaboration with colleagues from the UN’s CBD Secretariat. Even then, amid various global challenges, I felt keenly that ‘countries must act as one.’
Today’s international situation likewise presents many challenges. In that context, I hope to consider and pursue the role Japan can play together with you all. Thank you again for your attention.”
